Get Your Team Encrypting in Minutes

Follow these steps to get Locki fully set up for your organization — from installing the extension to encrypting your first message in Slack.

Install the Browser Extension

Download Locki for Chrome, Firefox, or Safari from the respective browser store. Takes less than 60 seconds.

Create Your Organization

Sign up at admin.lockisecurity.com. Enter your organization name and email — a 14-day free trial starts immediately. No credit card required.

Invite Your Team

In the admin dashboard, go to Users → Invite. Add teammates by email. They'll receive an invitation to join your organization and sync shared keys automatically when they sign in.

Create Encryption Keys

Go to Keys in the dashboard and create your first org encryption key. Name it by project or team (e.g., "Engineering — API Secrets").

Set Up Groups

Create groups (e.g., Engineering, Legal, Finance) and assign keys to each group. Members only see keys relevant to their group.

Configure Smart Suggestions

Enable smart suggestion rules to automatically alert users when they type sensitive patterns — credit card numbers, API keys, SSNs — without encrypting them first.

Start Encrypting

Open Slack, Gmail, Jira, or any web app. Select sensitive text, right-click, and choose Encrypt with Locki. That's it — your team is protected.
