Welcome to Locki! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Locki browser extension, admin dashboard, and website. By installing or using Locki, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the extension, dashboard, or website.
Locki is a browser-based encryption platform designed to help individuals and organizations encrypt and decrypt sensitive data within web applications. It is intended for legitimate personal or business use, and must not be used for activities that violate laws or third-party terms of service.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Locki. Organization administrators must have the legal authority to bind their organization to these Terms. By creating an organization account, you confirm you have that authority.
Locki Teams Pro is available at $42/month per organization. Subscribe at any time from the admin dashboard. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the admin dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until then. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
You agree to use Locki responsibly and in accordance with all applicable laws. You are solely responsible for the content you encrypt and share. Locki does not store or transmit plaintext — all encryption processing occurs locally in your browser. Organization administrators are responsible for managing user access and ensuring appropriate use within their organization.
You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or misuse the software in a way that could harm others or compromise its security.
Locki, its logo, and related assets are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce the Locki software, documentation, or branding without written permission.
Locki is built with a privacy-first approach. The extension does not collect or transmit plaintext data. For details on how we handle organizational, billing, and limited website data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Locki is provided "as is," without any warranties, express or implied. While we strive to maintain a secure and reliable service, we cannot guarantee that Locki will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
Encryption is a powerful tool, but users remain responsible for safely managing their encryption keys. Loss of a key means loss of access to encrypted data — we cannot recover plaintext for you. Organization admins should maintain key backups through the dashboard.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Locki and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the extension, dashboard, or website.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect improvements or changes in law. When updates occur, we will post the revised version on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of Locki after changes means you accept the new Terms.
You may stop using Locki at any time by uninstalling the extension or cancelling your subscription. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Locki in cases of misuse, fraud, or violation of these Terms.
